I think you need another GB of RAM which can be get from computer store such as newegg.com easily. Or best buy.
Gaming? It depends what kind of games you run on it. i.e. Old games should work fine but not games like Crysis or GTA IV those are serious resource hog even a dual core desktop couldn’t cope with these games.
Home use and old school gaming that’s all I can say. But if you want to play high spec games then you have to fork out more money and here’s a suggestion for ya you can buy parts from newegg.com and put it together much cheaper and get some help from sites such as 3dgameman.com. Unless you are talking about university use which must run on battery then it is a different thing.
